Since its inception, IHIC has been committed to provide food safety trainings and halal needs of industry. The mission of this institution is to remain committed to the attainment of highest standards in food processing, halal assurance and research at par with the international standards. Our approach is totally process-oriented; our emphasis is to assure the halal certification needs of people and make sure the hygiene standards. We strive to ensure that your time spent at with IHIC allows you to grow, discover and learn. May Allah Subhan-a WaTaala give us the vision and strength to fulfill this noble cause with all our efforts leading to the success of our clients, I am confident that our clients will bring a good name not only for this institution, but for their company and Pakistan too.
Centuries of imperialistic rule have made the Muslims forget the basic message of Islam, which emphasizes on following the Sharia’h guidelines in our Mu’amulat (routine dealings) and Mu’asharat (social system) with a similar zeal as we follow these rules in our Ibadaat (Prayers). This despicable situation has resulted in making the whole economic & social system of all the Muslim nations totally dependent on menaces like Haram Mashbooh food and illegitimate means of profit making. Nevertheless, there seems to be a ray of hope, as there is an increasing desire of awareness among a considerable portion of Muslims in Pakistan & all over the Muslim World who realizes that now it’s time to inculcate the teachings of Islam in their economic as well as social life. As a result of this noble desire, Halal industry has witnessed an exponential growth worldwide. Most of the leading food companies throughout the globe have started offering Sharia’h compliant food products and services.

Keeping into consideration the emerging importance of Halal food industry a need arises for an organized forum, which on one hand, equip the younger lot by education of Islamic maxims, on the other hand, train the professionals in the practical field so that they can switch their current day practices on Shara’h guidelines. IHIC looks forward to fulfilling this need. IHIC has been able to invoke the interest of many entrepreneurs from Trade and Industry & executives from within the food processing and supply sector for related Islamic business management principles and practices. ALI FAROOQUI
PhD from UTM Malaysia, working on genetical modification in food processing, expert in halal food processing and certification. Fazil Dars-e-nizami, researcher and supervisor of thesis in Jamia Darul uloom Islamia, Lahore. Expert in Halal food processing, slaughtering and stunning, worked with multiple organizations for halal food certification. Edifice of our organization is based on the research work which is done under the supervision of Mr. Ashraf Ali Farooqui.

MR. FARRUKH ALI KHAN
Mr. Farrukh Ali Khan is a qualified Islamic Banker and Certified Islamic Banking trainer from Jamia Darul Uloom, Karachi and Torque Corp. He is also a Certified Islamic Finance Executive from Ethica Dubai. He also holds a Certification in Islamic Finance by LUMS. He bears extensive
experience in designing, developing & delivering lectures and training programs pertinent to Islamic Banking & Finance at renowned platforms like Institute of Bankers Pakistan, International Islamic University and Riphah International University. He has delivered more than 200 trainings to 5000 participants in different training sessions. He has served in various Islamic Banking Institutions including Meezan Bank, Al-Baraka Bank & Bank Alfalah. During the past decade, he has held various positions including Head of Department of Management Sciences at
Wafaqi Urdu University, Marketing Manager in Islamic Banking Society, Service Quality Manager in Meezan Bank and currently as Facilitator Islamic Banking at Bank Alfalah Learning and Core Development Division
DR. SHEIKH USMAN YUSAF
Dr. Usman did his PhD in Management from Malaysia, and done his MBA Banking and Finance. Currently he is serving in Hailey College of Banking and Finance, University of the Punjab as assistant professor. His area of excellence is entrepreneurship and business motivation, he believes in job creation rather than job seeking. A highly skilled professional and self-motivated person, he has over 10 years of global diversified work experience in the private and public sector, and brings with him a wealth of practical knowledge acquired around the globe from the worlds’ leading educational institutions.
MR. M. ASIF IFTIKHAR SIDDIQUI
Ph.D. Scholar in Dairy Technology at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences with more than 25 years of industry experience in Dairy and Food Sciences. A food quality expert, lead auditor and trainer of ISO, HACCP and FSSC with proficiency in Halal food certification.
DR. M. KHALIL AHMAD THANVI
A renowned Islamic Scholar, author of more than 20 books. Molana did his PhD from Karachi University with diversified knowledge of Islamic Banking and Finance, he has been serving at Jamia Darul uloom Islamia, Lahore as Muhaddis (Hadith Teacher) holding a position of head in research department “Idara Ashraf-ul-Tehqiq” versatility in Islamic Banking & Financial Engineering, Modeling, Product Development, Shariah Advisory, Market Research and Gap Analysis.
DR. MUHAMMAD SAAD SIDDIQUI
Aalim-e-din with strong educational background, Post doc from Malaysia and PhD from University of the Punjab. Dars-e-nizami from Jamia Ashrafia Lahore. Supervise multiple research theses of M.Phil and PhD. Currently serving in University of the Punjab as Professor and Chairman Islamic department. Author of multiple books and research articles. A leading Shariah Scholar with high reputation in intellectuals, 25 years of experience in education sector, a passionate educationist.

Mufti Muhammad Akram is an energetic, highlu skilled person, serving at JDUI, Lahore. He has done his Dars-e-nizami and Takhassus (Specialization in Jurisprudence) from Jamia Dar-ul-uloom Islamia. He is best in Audit, Financial Evaluations, general Management and Resource allocations.

Ibrahim is a young researcher at Idara Ashraf-ul-Tehqiq, Lahore. Fazil Dars-e-Nizami, and doing M-Phil from University of Management and Technology. His expertise in Hadith and Sunnah, General Management according to Islam, Organizational Design and Systems Development,
dealing with Government and Regulatory Authorities, Life Trainings are also his practical areas of working.
ZULFIQAR ALI KHAN
Experienced insurance executive possessing more than 11 years of experience in insurance, risk management and education field. Executive Vice President of EFU General Insurance and Vice Chairman Lahore Insurance Institute. Did his MS Banking and Finance from GCU and MBE from University of the Punjab, along with fellowship of chartered insurance institute, London he is an associate in Reinsurance from American institute of chartered casualty and underwriters, USA. Currently holding membership of Audit committee and Governing Council of Lahore Insurance Institute, and youth professional group of ACII. Mr. Zulfiqar has got ideal recognition with multiple assignments of world repute organizations on Insurance and Finance for Research, Training, Advisory, and Consultancy.
TASSAWAR ABBAS JAFFERY
Over 15 years’ experience in both multinational and local organizations of Insurance industry, diversified personality with interpersonal skills gained through education and experience. Did his MBA Insurance and Risk Management from Hailey College of Banking and Finance, Lahore.
Currently working in Century Insurance as Vice President Operations. Author of multiple research articles and industry analysis reports which have been published in various journals.
Mr. Tassawar dedicatedly and tirelessly working for the concept building of Risk Management got best Paper award on “How to increase insurance penetration in Pakistan”.

Farkhanda Jabeen has a Master’s Degree in Business administration from university of the Punjab. In addition, being a qualified Insurance specialist, Farkhanda is also a fellow member of chartered insurance institute, London. Did her ACII and currently holding a position of Vice
President in EFU General Insurance. Areas of expertise are Insurance, Risk management, Reinsurance, Underwriting and Brokerage Services.
Ms. Farkhanda also a founding member of Hidayat Institution. She has over 10 years of global diversified work experience in the private and public sector and brings with her a wealth of practical knowledge acquired around the globe from the worlds’ leading educational
institutions. With her unique international experience, Ms. Farkhanda brings a fresh and vibrant perspective to Insurance and Risk Management.
MUHAMMAD MOEEZ SIDDIQUI
Business Graduate from University of Lahore with a diverse experience in Accounting and Finance. Served at the top audit firm ‘Deloitte Touche and Tohmatsu’, as well as State Bank of Pakistan, getting equipped with the latest knowledge of Banking and Financial institutions. A young, motivated individual with fine communication and interpersonal skills.

M.Phil. in Management Sciences from Institute of Administrative Sciences, University of the Punjab, Proficient in research and academic writing with multiple papers presented at various conferences of national and international scope.
